I am your deepest desire.
I have more radiance than you, or anyone can ever acquire.

I give hope to many a soul.
I am the opposite of death's gloomy toll.

I am your glowing, eternal flame.
I am the one that always takes the blame.
I am the fierce resistance that you own, the one that makes you realise your never alone.

But ever cross me, or go against my will. . . I'll be your nightmare, the one you find too scary to be anything but absurd.

I am unpredicable, i'll take over your mind.
I can be the cruelest thing you'll ever find.
I am the most beautiful thing you'll ever see.
I can take your soul and let it soar for eternity.

I can feed you hatred, onslaught and lies.
I am the one that makes you say your earthly 'good-byes.'

But when i'm gone, as cruel as i- life can be.
